Dethrone is a public leaderboard where rank equals dollars paid. The twist: taking #1 pays the previous #1 half of what you spend.

It's a slot sale, not a contest. When you take the throne, you're buying it from whoever sat there before you. They get paid. You get #1. Until someone buys it from you.

The 50/50 split

When someone takes #1, their payment splits evenly: 50% to the previous king, 50% to the house. Floor the cents—house gets the extra penny.
